Too start out with, Smog comes from the words smoke and fog. Which come together as smog. On December 4th, 1952, due to and caused by air pollution of coal, emission of Sulphur dioxide, and dust. The London Type smog occurs when a water droplet in the air condenses on smoke particles produced by the burning of coal. Forming tiny smog droplets. Sometimes called sulfur smog.
There were many deaths due to this smog. Yet,there was many more diseases, such as: Pneumonia, Bronchitis, Tuberculosis, Heart Failure, Asthma, Respiratory Distress, Cardiac Distress, and Asphyxiation. There weren't many solutions to prevent these diseases from happening except for wearing gas masks.

Hey Jenna! Okay, so the difference between our pollutants is mine(Photochemical Smog) is a reaction between sunlight and pollutants coming from factories, power plants and even your home. Yours however has to deal with the burning fossil fuels such as too much coal in the winter causing a thick smog.

Hey Jenna. The main difference between your type of smog and mine (London type- photochemical) is that London type was cause by the burning of fossil fuels and it just causes a very nasty type of smog. Photochemical smog is when gases and pollution get mixed with sunlight and causes a dirty kind of smog.

Hello Jenna. Our smog is sort of the same but different. Mine in photochemical smog. Mine is when the sunlight interacts with the pollutants. Yours is emissions from coal and sulfur oxide. But both ours causes people's respiratory function inefficiently.

Our two pollutions are different mine was Photochemical smog.Photochemical smog is formed by the action of sun light on pollutants such as hydrocarbons and nitrogen oxides.Unlike the London Type smog occurs when a water droplet in the air condenses on smoke particles produced by the burning of coal.My smog can irritate the throat,eyes,and lungs.Yours can do the same.

Jenna our two pollutants photochemical smog and london type smog have many things diffrent and the same. one thing that is the same is they both are polutants dealing with burnig of coal and other chemicals. but mine is caused by the sunlight interacting with those chemicals and yours is those chemicals interacting with water.

Hey Jenna! There are a few differences between our pollutnts. London-type smog and acid rain are different because London-type smog was caused by the burning of coal and the way that mixed with other chemicals in the air. Where ar acid rain can be caused by burning coal, but there could be different factors. Acid rain is polluted rain and London-type smog is a mixture of smoke and fog.
